Dear Customers,
We are currently experiencing network impact due to undersea cable cuts on SMW4 & IMEWE, which connect India to Europe. As a result, since 9:00 AM IST (UTC+5:30), international traffic to our Indian datacenters has been affected.
- Affected: All HostRainbow Indian datacenters (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi) when accessed from outside India
- Not affected: Our Germany, Netherlands, and other international datacenters, as well as all connectivity within India (latency & domestic traffic remain normal)
Impact details:
- Normal latency (India ↔ Europe): 120–150 ms
- Current latency: 200+ ms
- Packet loss: 5–20%
Major ISPs (TATA, Airtel, Jio) are actively rerouting traffic via alternate paths. Until rerouting is completed, customers accessing Indian servers from international locations may experience higher latency, packet loss, or monitoring alerts from 3rd-party tools.
